GRESHAM SELECTED BY CHESAPEAKE TO ENHANCE INTERNATIONAL MULTI-BANK, MULTI-CURRENCY INTRADAY CASH REPORTING

 

London - 4 October 2007 – Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc.® (http://www.chessys.com) today announced that it will integrate its SmartTreasury®, treasury workstation, and Total Reconciliation Solution (T-Recs®) Enterprise solutions with Gresham Computing plc’s Clareti Cash Reporting Service to offer value-added SWIFT treasury management and reconciliation services to its customers.

 

Gresham Computing’s Clareti Cash Reporting Service provides banks and their corporates with a consolidated view of real-time international transactions either intra-day or an end of day service. Chesapeake’s solutions will use the streamed international correspondent bank account information from Gresham’s solution for intraday and prior day posting and reconciliation against corporate internal records, thereby helping to provide a true current, validated view of assets and liabilities. The integration of these two solutions will help financial institutions and corporates benefit from real-time worldwide cash positions and reconciliation, enabling much better intraday funding and funds transfer decisions.
